Flannel Style

Hello Guys,

We are in the middle of summer, and it is so fun to play around with outfits. I decided to pick on one of my favorite pieces: The casual, classic and the must have flannel shirt. If you don’t own one, you can find it almost at any popular store, and they come in many different colors. To play around, I got every flannel shirt out my closet and created fun ways how you can put outfits together with flannel shirts. Enjoy!! It is not a cowboy thing!!!!

Hola chicos

Estamos a mediados del verano y es muy divertido jugar con piezas de ropa para hacer los mejores outfits. Decidí escoger unas de mis piezas favoritas: la casual, clásica e irremplazable franela. Si no tienes unas de estas camisas, la puedes encontrar en cualquier tienda popular y en diferentes colores. Para hacer este post divertido, busque todas las camisas tipo franelas que tenia en mi closet y armé diferentes outifts. Disfruten, no es algo que solo los vaqueros usan!!!

1.     Buttoned Up

It is the simplest, so it will be important how you want to style this look. I decide to go for khaki chinos and plain white casual shoes from TopMan. It is an easy way to create a casual look; I cut off the sleeves and wanted to show my guns. After all, it is summer.

Abotonada

Es la forma mas simple de usar la camisa, lo que significa que es bien importante por cual estilo decides llevar. Decidí usar pantalones kakis y zapatos blancos que compre en TopMan. Es un estilo fácil, y para hacerlo mas de verano y mostrar mas musculo, corte las mangas de la camisa. 

2.     Simple Tshirt under opened flannel

It is cool to let the flannel shirt open and use a plain tank under it. I rather use a plain color like white or black, and pair up with nice cut off jeans and great boots from Forever21

Camisa abierta con una camisilla debajo

Es muy cool dejar la camisa tipo franela abierta y usar una camisilla debajo. Yo prefiero colores como el blanco o el negro, mientras lo ligo con mis jeans favoritos. Y para darle un toque mas casual, use botas que compre en forever21.

3.     Flannel tied at the waist

This is a famous way to wear your flannel shirt. It is different and very stylish. I like to do this when I am going to a concert, or a cool day at the park. I went the more casual route, but I have done this with shorts and converse also. This outfit is a very casual but mostly for nights. Amarrada a la cintura

 Es una forma muy famosa de como vestir la camisa franela. Es un estilo diferente y muy hippie. Me gusta usar este estilo cuando voy a un concierto o una reunión con mis amigos en el parque. Esta vez lo hice un poco mas casual, pero también uso este estilo con pantalones cortos y converse. 4.     Tucked in

The tucked in flannel shirt style is my favorite. I found great chinos dressy pants and added the hat for a dressier look. I think that when you match trends with your style, that’s when class shows up. I totally love this look that complemented with Forever21 classic shoes.

Este estilo de la camisa tipo franela por dentro es mi favorito. Encontré un par de pantalones chinos, a los cual les agregue un sombrero para hacer el look mas formal. Yo pienso que cuando ligas una tendencia con tu estilo, es cuando llega la clase a tu outfit. Me encanta ese look complementado por mi zapatos de Forever21.

Overall, experimenting with trends is very fun and creative. Don’t think that guys only have the boring choices of plain shirts and jeans. Take a risk and make a impression.
