Grooming Flaws

I think we already stated that “style comes from within” and that we need to be ourselves and expressed through fashion and trends.  We spoke the past two weeks how important it is dress well according to your own taste, but lets be real…. It is as important that the great looks of the surface match the underneath of it all. Grooming flaws should be a crime for everyone.

Just cause we are men; it doesn’t give us a pass to avoid those grooming steps that women follow so faithfully. I mean, we don't have to buy every cream on the shelf or use every groupon available for grooming.. But trust me.. long chipped toenails and ashy semi-crusty feet are the biggest turn off, even when you are wearing Valentino shoes..

Being stylish and trendy would mean nothing if what is underneath doesn’t match the outside.

So there four major areas that we need to pay close attention to..  Let’s begin

Hair

Since we all have different types of hair, and we all prefer to keep it in different lengths, we should focus on keeping it clean and moisturize. Believe or not guys, there is a big variety of Men Hair products out there for every type of hair.. So go to your closest beauty shop or Walgreens (lets be real) and find the shampoo that works for you, instead of using the one your girlfriend or sister uses.

And of course, we have to mention those other areas.. (Chest, armpit, nose hair, facial and groin)  so lets not wonder around the bushes guys.. (Big  pun intended). If you feel weird about shaving it all, well don’t.. But keeping it trimmed and clean goes a long way. So try your best to keep your hair body under control.

Nails

No much to say here.. CUT YOUR NAILS.  It takes no time to do it on your own once a week. If you want to be awesome.. Go get a Mani/Pedi..  (Its not a girl thing guys) Getting pampered by those nice and very dedicated ladies at the nail salon is simply relaxing and right.

Skin

There is a lot to say on this one. To talk about all types skins and the maintenance of them, we would need dedicate a post only to cover how important is to find your moisturizers, your type of skin lotion, facial gel and body scrubs.  Once again, DO your personal research on what works for you, so that you wont be walking around with a dry face. It is unpleasant to shake a man’s hand with the rustiest feel. Let's just say, certain feelings you will never forget..(Cough cough)

Teeth

A nice smile can take you a long way, so it is important that you keep good care of it. I won't go into much detail (since we all learned that in our first years of schooling). But it is basically the normal routine.. Brush, floss, mouthwash, and become friends with your dentist

*DON’T FORGET TO FIND YOU SIGNATURE FRAGRANCE. (The type of fragrance that people recognize you before you enter the room)

So yeah guys.. it is awesome to wear nice clothes, shoes and accessories. But to sum it all up, we need to/ should treat our bodies like a temple. Not only the outside, but the underneath too.

To feel happy and comfortable, we have to be aware that even what other’s can't see, should have no grooming’s flaws at all.

And now that we are all in the same page about grooming, I went strong on my recycling game this week. I looked in the deepest and darkest part of my closet as I challenged  myself to make outfits of pieces of clothing I forgot I have. (minus my Adidas, I LOVE THEM)

I love this pair of pants, they kind of made themselves as I kept wearing them. It makes me feel super different, I know anybody else own this same pair of pants. 

This Blazer has to be the first one I ever bought, and I am just proud I still fit in it lol!!! #Recycle Guys, It is Fun 

I am posting this one to prove my point that we can recycle anything, I hope I am not the only one who see how the outfit would change by just changing the top..
